Monday, 2/16/09, is Presidents' Day and there is no school. Use this time to work on Science Fair, or Science Fiction/Fantasy story. Thursday is CRAZY HAT DAY, so bring your craziest chapeau!
Math: 30 minutes/night, 5 days/week, making all corrections first before moving on to new material. If you have difficulty, please call Denise between 7-8:30 pm for help. If we are unable to resolve by phone, we will meet the first thing the next morning.
Wordly Wise: Unit 2 words test and ompleted packet due on Tuesday, 2/17/09. (Postponed until Thursday, 2/19/09 (due to prep for the Science Test on Wednesday, and History Quiz next week.)
Writing: Do the review page on possessive/nominative pronouns.
Reading: Reading log due on Friday, 2/20/09. Follow my format until Pam assigns something different.
Science: Test on Chapter 4 on Wed. 2/18/09. We will do an additional prep. on Thursday, 2/12/09, AND ON 2/17/09 so please bring your book and folder with you to Reading class.

Geography 4B: Work on your story book of the Relationship between the Earth and Sun. For 2/6/09, finish your draft and break the information into smaller sections; by 2/13/09, finish illustrations; by 2/20/09, your book will be completed. We will have it bound to present to Group 1 class.

H.S. Chemistry: 4 Chapters/week in Chem. 2: Understanding Mixtures are due each Tuesday. By 2/10/09, Chapters 1-16 should be done; by 2/17/09, 1-20 should be done; and by 2/24, 1-23 should be done.We will have a test on Chapter 1-16 on Thursday, 2/19/09. and a test on Chapter 17-23 on Thursday, 3/5/09.
