Math: 30 minutes/night, 5 nights a week, completing all corrections before moving on to new work. If you have a problem, plese call Denise between 7-8:30 pm.
Reading: On Mondays, we will try to do Life Skills in Reading Block. Plese bring occupations with you. (I will try to reschedule Ron Sweet to meet with us on Monday instead of Tuesday.)
Writing: Bring a HARD COPY of your work (story vignettes count)every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for peer editing. Your homework is to finish writing your action timeline events as individual stories with the minor actions leading up to the event and the actions that occur after the event. In this way you are breaking your story up into action timeline event stories. Then it is a matter of linking them with transion words and paragraphs and your first draft is written! Make sure that you can relate your action timeline to the story vignettes. BACK UP YOUR STORY ON A THUMB DRIVE, PLEASE!
Writing (Tuesday) for Groups 5B &5G: Do 30 minutes on the diagramming packet, going back to where you left off and then filling in the sentences.
Wordly Wise: Test on Words 1-10 on your Scrabble Word List for Tuesday, 4/7/09; Test on Words 11-20 on your Scrabble Word List for Tuesday, 4/14/09.
